My Girlfriend's Boyfriend: Movie Review

A rom-com with an odd twist but satisfying story and adorable characters.
"My Girlfriend's Boyfriend" is a boy meets girl, and then girl meets boy story. It starts out exactly as you expect a romantic comedy to go. Jesse is unlucky in love, Ethan is unlucky in his writing career, she vows to help him, and he easily falls in love with her. But then Troy is there to sweep Jesse off her feet, and before we know it Jesse has a dilemma. 2010

The difference is that this story has a twist, and they had me completely involved in the story waiting for the surprise development. Unfortunately, that twist was rather dismaying, and a let down for what I was expecting. It's not nearly as good as it could have been; however, what was left over was still a funny, romantic and cute story. Even after it's over with its disappointing ending, I was still happy with how they told their story, and satisfied that I spent my time with these adorable characters.
